A guide to shopping for a Cell Phone in Canada

Hello dear reader. Thanks for visiting this blog! I have been thinking about what I could possibly contribute to the internet that either hasn't been done yet, or, hasn't been done well. I also needed to find something that I know a thing or two about - something that I am passionate about and enjoy as a hobby in order to make the content that I deliver on this blog both relevant and correct while coming from the heart. It may sound silly, but I know a thing or two about cell phones, and feel like I can deliver a personal perspective based on years of experience in the telecommunications industry.

I live in Canada, and I run a Cell Phone store. I'll leave out the name of the company that I work for as there may be a conflict of interest with regards to my employment and the means of which I feed my family, but, I feel strongly that I can help folks out in what has been, and should not be, a stressful purchase.

First, a little about me...



I've been working in the cell phone industry for about 4 years now (As of this writing). While I am by no means the most tenured Cell shop owner out there, I do take what I do pretty seriously and also believe in genuinely delivering the best service I can. There are a ton of places out there that do not have the consumer's best interest at heart, nor will they provide you with the solution that is best for you and in this blog I will tell you why.

I am not only responsible for ensuring that my team provides the best customer service in our industry, I am also charged with making sure that the customer gets what they need, based off real things like past usage, consideration of future use, who you call, what you do on your phone and what plan you're currently on. I make sure that my entire team has the same standards that I do and that they always strive to go above and beyond, even if people do not buy from us.

Buying a cell phone in Canada does not have to be a scary thing - in fact, it should be fun! This is the moment you're going to pick a device out that will accompany you on adventures, capture moments, and keep you connected. As long as you're prepared and know what to ask and what ro look out for, I assure you, dear reader, that this experience can be a positive one.
